ACROSS THE FIELD, a 1989 bay stallion by Roberto was generously donated to the Virginia Tech Equine Breeding Program by Mr. and Mrs. D. Sams.  Across the Field is a double-bred Nasrullah horse with Bull Lea and Hail to Reason in his pedigree.  We bred Across the Field to our Quarter Horse and warmblood mares to produce excellent movers with a refined, classic look. In the spring of 2004, Across the Field was sold to a breeder in Virginia and is happily retired there.
