BRAVADO VT - October 2007

SIRE: BALADIN D'OC is one of Virginia Tech's current breeding stallions. This highly successful FEI dressage stallion was born in France and travelled to Germany as a two-year-old where he was performance tested at Adelheidsdorf. As a five-year-old Baladin d'Oc was imported to the United States and competed with an adult amateur rider in FEI dressage competition. With very limited number of offspring, Baladin d'Oc has produced several Premium foals and USDF Year End award winners.

DAM: KALANTA is a beautiful 16.3hh imported keur Dutch Warmblood mare by (Olympic) Concorde, son of legendary jumper stallion Voltaire. Although bred for jumping, Kalanta competed in dressage through Third Level, and produced several foals prior to coming to Virginia Tech.

BRAVADO VT is the total package - great looks, wonderful gaits and a puppy-dog disposition. At his foal inspection, he scored 8's for conformation, gaits and overall impression, and was named Premium Foal. This handsome fellow is absolutely a fantastic amateur or youth prospect for the hunters or dressage. He was purchased in 2007 by Impulsion Unlimited, Inc., who also own another Baladin d'Oc youngster from the same crop - Bacardi VT. Bravado VT will be backed this winter.
