SIRE: FUERST GOTTHARD is a successful FEI level open jumper who competed under the name "The Titlest". He was Show Champion stallion at the West Coast Classic and Los Angeles Equestrian Center breed show. As a four-year-old, he earned a score of 84% in first level dressage before beginning his career as a jumper. Fuerst Gotthard's offspring have been successful through Grand Prix level.

Virginia Tech is indebted to Connie Lomax of Tryon, North Carolina who donated the service from Fuerst Gotthard to Virginia Tech's Equine Program for Schonau. Thanks also to Edgar and Susan Schutte of Rainbow Equus Meadows, Lincoln, California, who own Fuerst Gotthard.

DAM: SCHOENAU (pictured at left) was a very successful conformation and working hunter. Her show career earned her many championships, as well as the title of "Star Mare" with ISR/Oldenburg NA, one of the few mares to be granted that title based on performance as a hunter. This lovely grey mare has beautiful conformation, sweeping gaits and a super sweet personality. Schoenau's 1999 son Drake (show name "5 o'clock Somewhere") by Don Alfredo, is already a multiple champion hunter, with titles at Lamplight, Littlewood, etc. and recently sold for $125,000! Schoenau's sire, Schoenfeld, is a proved producer of numerous hunter champions.

As a foal, FOXFIRE was named Premium at his ISR/Oldenburg NA inspection, and was crowned Champion Colt. He is a top-notch, very fancy show hunter prospect. Modern and stylish, with a super trot and canter and excellent extended gaits. He is very amateur-friendly, will be uncomplicated to ride and a pleasure to show. He is currently working well under tack and is ready to be backed.
