SIRE: GRAF TOP II has a pedigree of exceptional jumping ability. His sire Graf Grannus has excellent character and above average ability in all disciplines. The highly successful Calypso II, Gotthard and Grannus all appear in Graf Top II's pedigree and he has inherited rideability, good character and phenomenal jumping ability from them. In April 2001, Graf Top II competed at a CDI where he received three scores in the 70's at Training Level and received scores of "9" for his gaits. In 2001 and 2002 Graf Top II competed in Level III jumping. The services from Graf Top II to produce Good Omen VT and Givenchy VT were graciously donated by Judy and Volker Ehlers of Glenwood Hanoverians.
DAM: SCHÖNAU is a tremendous addition to the Virginia Tech broodmare band. This lovely gray mare has beautiful conformation, an engaging personality and has had an extensively successful career in the hunter ring. SchÖnau's sire, SchÖnfeld, is a reknown producer of hunter horses. In addition he has produced offspring winning on the line, in the dressage arena and in eventing. SchÖnfeld's get consistently have correct structure and bone, strong toplines, and three exceptional gaits. SchÖnfeld's offspring are also known for their kind temperaments.
GOOD OMEN VT is an attractive grey colt whose pedigree is impressive. We have high hopes for this young fellow. Omen was presented at the September 2004 ISR/OLD N. A. Inspection hosted by Virginia Tech. He was accepted and branded Oldenburg N.A.
