SIRE: THREE CROWNS was imported from Sweden as a two-year-old and was a successful show horse for many years. He was nationally ranked as a dressage competitor in the early and mid 1980's. Achievements include: Champion Stallion at Dressage at Devon as a four-year-old and winning the Fourth Level class at Devon in 1986. In addition to his prowess as a dressage mount, Three Crowns could negotiate a course of five-foot fences with ease. This impressive bay son of Iran has exceptionally elegant and powerful movement and a bold, eager disposition which he has clearly passed on to his offspring.

DAM: NEW BEGINNINGS, also known as "Beni", is a powerfully built warmblood mare sired by the Hanoverian Nebelwerfer, sire of Grand Prix dressage stallion Nebelhorn, winner of his 100-day test. Beni has produced many foals for Virginia Tech and all have been outstanding amateur or youth horses with easy-going temperaments. Her daughter VT Lysistrata (show name "Ellusive") carried her owner to the 2006 VHSA Associate Champion Equitation title as just a six-year-old!

VT JESTER was sold in the 2001 Hokie Harvest Sale to an excellent home in Northern Virginia. She is maturing into a medium-sized, substantial individual with her mother's wonderful disposition. Jester has the athletic ability of her sire Three Crowns and should develop into an excellent competitor.
