SIRE: ATMON C. M. is a 17.0 h bay Hanoverian stallion who was shown as a jumper and ridden in the Maryland Hunt. Carrying the Thoroughbred bloodlines of Adlerschild and Poet, Atmon C. M. was second in the two-year-old Stallion Class at Devon in 1978 and in 1983 he was second in the Stallion Class. Atmon's son Amor Reto, Legacy Farm, Ltd, Goshen, Ohio, is licensed by the International Sporthorse Registry/Oldenburg N.A. Atmon's son Aurelius Marcus was Reserve Champion Colt at Devon, where he was also the most successful Hanoverian horse in the Young Horse Division.

DAM: DIMPLE ("BELLE") is a large, well-balanced chestnut mare that was successful as a lower level dressage mare and children's jumper before coming to Virginia Tech in 2003. She has been invaluable to the teaching program due to her outstanding temperament and passes her disposition on to all her foals.

ACADEMY AWARD VT ("OSCAR") was a sweet, large-framed gelding who was sold privately in 2005. With his new owner, he has shown successfully in-hand and now is placing well under saddle in the baby greens. Oscar's 2005 full sister, Avalon VT ("Phoenix") was sold in the 2005 Hokie Harvest Sale and in 2007, she was third in the Three-Year-Old Fillies class at Dressage at Lexington with her amateur owner handler.
