Belisari VT - Summer 2007

SIRE: BALADIN D'OC is one of Virginia Tech's current breeding stallions. This highly successful FEI dressage stallion was born in France and travelled to Germany as a two-year-old where he was performance tested at Adelheidsdorf. As a five-year-old, Baladin d'Oc was imported to the United States and competed with an adult amateur rider in FEI dressage competition. With very limited number of offspring, Baladin d'Oc has produced a high percentage of Premium foals.

DAM: WHITNEY is an attractive, well-balanced mare by the famous Grand Prix jumping stallion Winchester, whose partnership with Canadian Ian Miller has produced many successes. Whitney's broodmare sire Wachmann is also the broodmare sire of Herbertus Schmidt's 2004 Olympic Dressage mare Wansuela Suerte (by Warkant).

BELISARI VT, also known as "Pip", is a handsome young gelding we were delighted to offer in the 2006 Hokie Harvest Sale. He now lives in South Carolina and is a lovely hunter prospect. His new owners were delighted with how easy he was to start under saddle, and he is already winning very good ribbons in the flat classes at local rated shows.
