2007 Chestnut Oldenburg NA Filly (born April 25)

SIRE: BALADIN D'OC is one of Virginia Tech's current breeding stallions. This highly successful FEI dressage stallion was born in France and travelled to Germany as a two-year-old where he was performance tested at Adelheidsdorf. As a five-year-old Baladin d'Oc was imported to the United States and competed with an adult amateur rider in FEI dressage competition. With very limited number of offspring, Baladin d'Oc has produced several Premium ISR and Oldenburg NA foals, and his first offspring under saddle are showing good success as hunters and dressage horses.

DAM: CONSUELA is a beautiful daughter of leading sire Contucci. At her Hanoverian inspection, Consuela was named Co-Champion Hanoverian mare with a score of 7.33. She is a full sister to Cruise Control and Carrie, both top finishers in their age groups at Dressage at Devon. She is also a 3/4 sister to Contigo, Reserve Grand Champion at DAD!

Bacarra VT is Consuela's second foal. She is very personable and an outstanding mover. Bacarra was named Premium Foal at her inspection in September, 2007 and was third in the Yearling Fillies class at Dressage at Lexington, 2008.
