SIRE: BALADIN D'OC is one of Virginia Tech's current breeding stallions. This highly successful FEI dressage stallion was born in France and travelled to Germany as a two-year-old where he was performance tested at Adelheidsdorf. As a five-year-old Baladin d'Oc was imported to the United States and competed with an adult amateur rider in FEI dressage competition. Baladin produces primarily hunters and dressage mounts with exceptional trainability and above average gaits.

DAM: KALANTA is a beautiful imported keur Dutch Warmblood mare by (Olympic) Concorde, son of legendary jumper stallion Voltaire. Although bred for jumping, Kalanta competed in dressage through Third Level, and produced several foals prior to coming to Virginia Tech. She has produced the Grand Prix and international jumper Alarm, and is the granddam of CSI*** jumper Scharmantha and USEA FEH Reserve Grand Champion Roswell VT.

BALATORE VT is a beautiful filly with an outgoing personality. She is a full sister to Bravado VT, Premium Foal in 2005 and winner in the hunter ring. At her ISR/Oldenburg NA inspection, she received very good marks, including '8' for gaits. Balatore was sold in the 2007 Hokie Harvest Sale and is currently winning in dressage at a three-year-old.
