SIRE: BALADIN D'OC is one of Virginia Tech's current breeding stallions. This highly successful FEI dressage stallion was born in France and travelled to Germany as a two-year-old where he was performance tested at Adelheidsdorf. As a five-year-old Baladin d'Oc was imported to the United States and competed with an adult amateur rider in FEI dressage competition. With very limited number of offspring, Baladin d'Oc has produced several Premium ISR and Oldenburg NA foals, and his first offspring under saddle include Champion hunters and USDF All-Breeds Champions. DAM: DIMPLE, also known as "Belle", was successful in the show ring as a lower-level dressage mount and childrens' jumper prior to her donation to Virginia Tech. Her sire Diwan was an advanced dressage horse imported from Germany, and is the sire of the approved stallion and 100-day test winner Derringer. Belle is a half-sister to Solar Flash xx, dam of Pennsylvania, Champion Hanoverian Mare at her AHS inspection, successful show hunter and now a broodmare for Virginia Tech. Belle is a well-balanced, attractive mare with a friendly disposition and has produced several lovely foals for Virginia Tech, including Riviera VT (by Rienzi) and Avalon VT (by Atmon CM), both ribbon-winners in-hand at Dressage at Lexington. |

Bella Sera VT is a very pretty, friendly filly. She is well-balanced and should become an outstanding amateur mount. At her ISR/Oldenburg NA inspection in September 2007, she recieved scores of 8.4 for conformation and type, movement and overall impression, and the inspector was very impressed with her harmonious conformation, ground-covering walk and elasticity in the trot. She was named Premium Foal and Reserve Champion Filly for the site with an overall score of 8.4. In 2008, Bella Sera VT was shown at Dressage at Lexington, where she placed second in a large Yearling Fillies class and went on to be named Reserve Champion Filly!
