SIRE: BALADIN D'OC is one of Virginia Tech's current breeding stallions. This highly successful FEI dressage stallion was born in France and travelled to Germany as a two-year-old where he was performance tested at Adelheidsdorf. As a five-year-old Baladin d'Oc was imported to the United States and competed with an adult amateur rider in FEI dressage competition. With very limited number of offspring, Baladin d'Oc has produced several Premium ISR and Oldenburg NA foals, and his first offspring under saddle are showing good success as hunters and dressage horses.

DAM: PRIMROSE is a lovely Oldenburg mare who joined the Virginia Tech herd in early 2006. Her sire Pik Immer is by the 'Action Trotter' Pik Senior, and produced a number of outstanding foals, many of whom excelled in dressage breeding shows. His daughters have done well in their mare inspections, including the Elite Mare Pied Piper (Watzmann).In 1993, Primrose was named a Premium Foal with ISR/Oldenburg NA. She has shown successfully in dressage through Grand Prix and was retired in 2002. Primrose is a very well-balanced mare with an incredibly kind and generous nature. We are delighted to have her in our breeding program.
