SIRE: BALADIN D'OC is one of Virginia Tech's current breeding stallions. This highly successful FEI dressage stallion was born in France and travelled to Germany as a two-year-old where he was performance tested at Adelheidsdorf. As a five-year-old Baladin d'Oc was imported to the United States and competed with an adult amateur rider in FEI dressage competition. With very limited number of offspring, Baladin d'Oc has produced several Premium ISR and Oldenburg NA foals, and his first offspring under saddle are showing good success as hunters and dressage horses.

DAM: HOMELIA H ("AMELIA") is a impressive, substantial mare with an exceptional jumping career and a kind disposition. She has been shown successfully both in Europe and on the East Coast of the United States. Amelia's sire Caritas was the champion of his stallion test, earning 9.5 on walk, trot and canter. His free jumping and jumping under saddle were awarded 8.5. Caritas' sire Vanitas was a tremendously successful sire, producing the dressage horses Roman and Facet (the latter also having Courville xx in the damline) as well as the international show jumpers Naritas, Husker Du and Helianthe. Amelia's dam, the ster pref prest mare Bomelia, also produced the ster Komelia H and elite sport Jomelia H, both Z-level dressage mares, as well as international jumper Mombassa, Z-level jumper Imelius and Grand Prix jumper Fomelia!

Brianna VT was Amelia's first foal. Tragically, we lost Brianna at four months of age in a pasture accident. She was elegant, athletic and exceptionally sweet and she will be sorely missed.
