2009 Bay Oldenburg NA Filly (born April 19)

SIRE: FIELDING is from the first crop of the young Fabriano son Fred Astair, shown to wins in Intermediare I by Tom Noone in 2008. Fielding was licensed in 2007 by the American Hanoverian Society and ISR/Oldenburg NA. At his 100-day test he earned an overall score of 125 to earn Class I status, and was the highest-placing domestically-bred stallion at the test. He earned a score of 9 for character and 8's for temperament, ability to work, willingness to work, rideability and general jumping ability. True to his heritage, Fielding offers versatility for dressage or jumping, combined with super character and rideability.

DAM: UNMISTAKEN HABIT is a lovely Thoroughbred mare with excellent conformation and a kind disposition. She has been Champion in the A-rated Pre-Green division in Chicago, IL, before moving up to and showing successfully in the 3'6" classes. At her ISR/Oldenburg NA inspection in 2006, Wednesday earned scores of 8 for her head and breed type, and was named a Premium Mare, with a score of 105! She has also produced Fantine VT (by Fabriano), Premium foal and winner of the 2YO Fillies class at her first FEH show.

Fanfare VT is a lovely, modern filly with an exceptional temperament and above average gaits. She is from the first crop of her sire Fielding, and we are exceptionally grateful to Kate Palmquist at Autumn Hill Farm for allowing us to breed to her lovely stallion. At her first show, Dressage at Lexington, Fanfare won the ISR/Oldenburg IBC and was third in a very competitive Fillies of 2009 class. Her overall score of 77.6%, including an 8 for her walk from judge Janine Malone, has qualified her for the USDF/GAIG Regional Filly Championships at Dressage at Devon. Fanfare VT was sold privately in 2009.
