SIRE: AFRICAN ART is a black, 16.1 h stallion with exceptional movement. He is the son of the World Champion (Working Hunter) Quarter Horse Stallion Artful Move. Artful Move is also a Reserve Champion in Amateur Hunter Under Saddle, Junior Hunter Under Saddle, and Pleasure Driving. His get are currently making a tremendous impact on the AQHA show circuit.
DAM: DENVER DARLING has been in Virginia Tech's program for two years and has produced two exceptional fillies for us. Denver's sire Monarch and her grandsire Wiking are well-known racing Arabians. Wiking was the 1985 and 1986 National Champion Racehorse and twice U. S. Race Sire of the year. Monarch, in three years of racing and 23 starts, collected 19 firsts and three seconds, won 14 stakes races, and set four track records. Denver has produced five fillies: VT Kelsey, VT No Mercy, VT Night Life, VT Notylia "Orchid", VT Nobility "Princess" and one colt VT Noah.
VT KELSEY DARLING is a pleasant individual, combining the expressive movement of her sire with a winning disposition and athletic capabilities of her Arabian dam. After progressing through the Behavior and Training class in the fall of 2000, Kelsey was sold as a weanling in the 2000 Hokie Harvest Sale.
