2000 Bay Warmblood Filly

SIRE: ASLAN is a 16.3 hand, dark bay Danish Oldenborg stallion. He is registered with American Warmblood Society, where he is approved for breeding and is classifed an Elite stallion with a score of 84%. Aslan was named as one of the Top Ten Stallions in the AWS 2002 Progeny Study. Aslan has many offspring in Denmark, including a 2003 Danish Oldenborg approved great granson, Chero. Aslan has also produced many excellent performers in Virginia.

DAM: NEW BEGINNINGS is a lovely warmblood mare sired by the Hanoverian Nebelwerfer, sire of Grand Prix dressage stallion Nebelhorn, winner of his 100-day test. She has produced many foals for Virginia Tech and is known for passing on her unflappable temperament. Daughter VT Lysistrata (show name "Ellusive") carried her adult amateur owner to the title of 2006 VHSA Associate Equitation Champion.

VT KLONDIKE is as powerfully built as her mother and has the same pleasant disposition. She was sold in the 2002 Hokie Harvest Sale and is a wonderful Pony Club mount and show horse for her junior rider. She consistently wins in the hack and is bold and honest over fences.
