SECTION I - Youngstock

Weanlings, yearlings and two-year-olds have been handled since birth and have good basic groundwork. Two-year-olds have not been started under saddle, but will have been worked in a bridle and surcingle and will have been free-lunged by the time of the sale.

SECTION III - Thoroughbred Yearlings

These yearlings have recently come to us from Virginia Tech's breeding program at the Middleburg Agricultural Research and Extension (MARE) Center. They have had some handling but are very green. Since their arrival, our students have worked with them on basic groundwork such as haltering, leading, grooming and picking up feet.
