CONSUELA is a gorgeous young mare from the proven Contucci-Banter cross.

Her sire, Contucci, is a leading sire of USDF/Cosequin Breeders Championship and Dressage at Devon winners. Contucci is by the Trakehner Caprimond, who became a leading dressage sire, well-known for producing foals of excellent quality and type, after a successful career at Grand Prix. Caprimond is also the sire of 2002 Trakehner Stallion of the Year Hohenstein.

Consuela is a full sister to Cruise Control, 3rd in 3YO Colts/ Geldings and 4th in the Three and Older Hanoverian IBC at Dressage at Devon 2004 (73.5%), and 2nd in the 4YO Suitable to Become a Dressage Horse at DAD in 2005. Another full sibling, Carrie, was 3rd at DAD as a weanling and 8th in Yearling Fillies with a score of 75.7% in 2003. Carrie was recently accepted into the ISR/OLDNA Main Mare Book with a score of 102 points.

Consuela is also 3/4 sister to Contigo, who swept the Young Horse titles at Dressage at Devon in 2002 and was named Reserve Grand Champion!

We are delighted to have this outstanding young mare in our broodmare band! She is approved for breeding with the American Hanoverian Society with a score of 7.33, and was presented to ISR/OLDNA in September 2007. She is confirmed in foal to the outstanding FEI dressage stallion and leading sire Don Principe (Donnerhall/Prince Thatch xx) for 2009, and we thank Marydell Farms for this very generous stallion service donation!
