FAR AND AWAY is an Elite Hanoverian Mare and a recent addition to the Virginia Tech broodmare band. She is by Walter Scott, Reserve Champion of his 100-day test at November Hill Farm, with a final score of 130.38 points. Although he did not sire a large number of foals, Walter Scott produced a high percentage of AHS High-Score mares. Far And Away was herself a high-score mare at her AHS inspection and named one of the top mares of her inspection year. She was a dressage schoolmaster before her arrival to Virginia Tech.

She comes from a very strong female family of five straight States Premium mares! Her damsire line of Bolero-Argus-Duellant is the same as that of top sire Wonderful (Weltmeyer). Dam SPS Babuschka also produced Prescription (Presidio), 2004 Northwest Sporthorse Breeders Champion Stallion and 2005 ODS and USDF All-Breeds Oldenburg Champion at Second Level.

Far And Away, or "Frannie" as she is known around the farm, is a lovely, kind-natured mare and an outstanding addition to our breeding program.
