FLAMBEAU is a recent addition to the Virginia Tech broodmare band. She is by West Coast, Champion of his licensing, three-time Grand Champion at NCDCTA and Reserve Grand Champion at Dressage at Devon. West Coast sired approved sons, Champion daughters and many outstanding dressage horses, all with wonderful temperaments and trainability.

Flambeau was bred by Janine Malone and is out of MS Willow, who has also produced Fanale (by Wummestern), currently showing Intermediare I with an adult amateur and 2006 USDF Region 1 Champion at Adult Amateur Fourth Level and Prix St. Georges, and Palais (by Picaro), successful competitor in dressage and eventing at the training level, as well as a number of other outstanding young horses. Willow is a full sister to SPS World Lady, dam of SPS Rose (by Rotspon), a 3YO Mare Champion in Germany and winner of her mare performance test with an incredible score of 8.5. Willow is also a 3/4 sister to stallions Walt Disney I and Walt Disney II.

Flambeau is a lovely, kind-natured mare and an outstanding addition to our breeding program. She earned a total score of 7 at her mare inspection, with 8's for neck and type and femininity. At her performance test she earned excellent marks for her canter and rideability. She is currently in foal to Sinatra Song for 2009, and we thank Angela Barilar and High Point Hanoverians for this wonderful stallion service donation!
