FOXY LADY arrived in early 2007 to Virginia Tech. She is a lovely mare by the Dutch Warmblood Boeskoolboy, who stood at Virginia Tech for several years. Boeskoolboy is by Jasper, sire of several top showjumpers including Olympic silver medalist Crown Royal Legato. The ster mare Marchien, dam of Boeskoolboy, also produced international showjumper Zalme (Alme Z) and the excellent producer Talisman Girl (Lucky Boy xx). Boeskoolboy himself successfully competed in jumping and eventing and has sired many outstanding amateur-friendly horses successful in hunters, jumpers and eventing. Foxy Lady's dam Double Tumble was a multiple winner on the track, as was her mother Lucky Tumble, who produced 10 other winners, including the stakeswinner Lazey Tumble.

Foxy Lady competed very successfully in eventing through the Preliminary level. In 2001 she was named USEA Training Level Horse of the Year for her region. She posted top ten finishes at 9 of her 13 career horse trials, including a win at Hearthstone and second place finishes at Gemwood and Stone Gate Farm. Foxy is very sweet and easy-going, and we are delighted to welcome her to Virginia Tech. She was inspected by ISR/Oldenburg NA in 1997 and entered into the Main Mare Book. We are pleased to announce Foxy is in foal to the Swedish Warmblood stallion Irish Dream for 2009!
