GOOD MAGIC
1994 Chestnut Selle Francais Mare

Good Magic arrived at Virginia Tech in 2007 after retiring from a very successful career as a show hunter. She placed well with her adult owner at shows throughout Maryland and Pennsylvania, including the Pennsylvania National Horse Show.

Good Magic is by Oleandre, who showed extensively in the United States in the hunters before retiring to stud in France. Oleandre is by the leading jumper sire Jalisco B, who also sired Olympic medalist Quidam de Revel, Olympic jumper and top sire Olisco, World Cup Silver Medalist Dollar du Murier, World Cup Champion Quito de Baussy, top international jumper and sire Papillon Rouge, etc. Oleandre is out of Ugoline, an international Three-Day Event mare.

On the dam side, Good Magic is blessed with outstanding Thoroughbred lines for sport. Her damsire Keelo won on the line and over fences at Devon, Upperville, etc. and is well known as a hunter sire along the East Coast, producing excellent broodmares, as well as the Conformation Hunter Champion and respected stallion Bit Of Class.
