NUTMEG is by the Grand Prix dressage stallion and Champion Hunter Nebelhorn and out of the Elite Mare Gilda. She was bred by Honey Locust Farm in Chapel Hill, NC and represents the third generation of her mare family bred there. Nutmeg was named Champion Mare at her Hanoverian inspection, receiving an overall score of 7.6 and 8's for both her walk and trot. She is in the Main Mare Book for both the American Hanoverian Society and ISR/Oldenburg NA. Prior to her arrival at Virginia Tech in the fall of 2006, Nutmeg had produced a bay filly by Wummestern in 2002, named Felony, who is currently in training with Elisa Syndor. We are delighted to welcome Nutmeg into our broodmare band and look forward to breeding her to Baladin d'Oc in 2008.

Nebelhorn, sire of Nutmeg.
