ODET II* is a lovely petite mare with an excellent trot and an interesting combination of Dutch, Holsteiner and Swedish bloodlines.

Grandsire Ahorn was a Grand Prix jumper, consistently placing in World Cups and shortlisted for the Barcelona Olympics. He sired European Champion Mare Helena, Reserve European Champion Korenbloem, Dutch Champion Mare Haciende, over 60 international showjumpers, and approved sons Ohorn, Hattrick, Furore, Matterhorn, Aram (sire of Olympic Gold Medalist De Sjiem), etc. Odet has two crosses to Nimmerdor, in her own sireline (Ahorn) and that of her dam (Aram).

The Swedish stallion Flamingo earned a Bronze Medal in dressage at the 1984 Olympics. He is the sire of Grand Prix dressage stallions Juvel, Flamenco and Rochus (Olympic Silver Medalist), and broodmare sire of Olympic dressage stallion (Flyinge) Amiral.

At her 2006 ISR/Oldenburg NA inspection, Odet II* was named a Premium Mare, with a tremendous score of 108 points, impressing the judges with her type, balance and excellent walk and trot. She was one of the 20 top mares they saw on the inspection tour that year, and she was named the 4th-highest scoring mare on the East Coast, with an overall score equal to that of the mares placed above her! In 2008, she was named Champion Mare and Reserve Champion Mature Horse at Dressage at Lexington, and her 2008 colt by Lingh was named Reserve Champion Colt and Reserve Champion Young Horse.
