Grande Starlight is a large (17.3), kind mare who came to Virginia Tech in 2006. Starlight started her career as a jumper, then moved to dressage. In 2005 she scored in the high 60's at First Level and placed 4th at the BLM Championships under trainer Donna Gatchell. Her sire, Grande Saber, an outstanding jumper and Champion at Dressage at Devon, is a leading sire of hunters, jumpers and breed show winners. Dam Starbound has produced numerous Premium foals and breed show winners and descends from Olympic medalists Starman and Lucky Boy xx.
